Şarkı, Eli Geva ismindeki İsrail Silahlı Kuvvetler subayının, 1982 yılında gerçekleşen Beyrut kuşatması sırasında “sivillerin aşırı öldürülmesine” tepki olarak askerliği reddetmesi ve sonrasında yaşanan olayları konu alan şarkı sözleriyle de oldukça manidar.
