Şarkıda ‘’Whatever Will Be’’nin bir vokal hilesini kullanıyorum bunun haricinde her şey tamamen farklı.

  1. Müzikle uğraşmıyor olsaydın şu an ne yapıyor olurdun?

Geçen sonbaharda İstanbul’a gelemediğimizden dolayı çok üzülmüştüm.

IN ENGLISH

  1. You have been in Turkey before. What do you think about the audience in here? Everything must look different from the stage.

I remember about the 1st time I played in Istanbul to be honest I was surprised to see so many people as I had no idea about people really following my work. When you’re an indie artist with no mainstream medias & major marketing plans it’s always great to see that people catch the music anyway. I often receive messages & talk with fans from Turley & I think there’s a strong background about my kind of music.

  1. Do you have any unforgettable memory in your past concerts?

There a re so many.

  1. When we look at on Spotify, we see that your most played song is Que Sera’s cover. Do you have a special reason for your choice of this song for cover? How did you decide and what do you think about the song being popular?

I don’t consider that it’s a cover, it’s using the vocal gimmick of Whatever will be but except that everything is completely different, I don’t even use the vocal pattern that I’ve rebuild. My grandmother was listening to this song when I was a child & I’ve always used the expression “Que Sera” talking about what’s gonna happen. One day I was playing with the guitar groove & this gimmick came back in my mind. This is the kind of track you can’t really brainstorm;)

  1. What is your opinion about the recent bands that make music with electronic substructure?

I can’t resume them to a simple line, I mean hopefully there’s still some interesting things, I just think that we’re in a period where the technology often comes 1st. I hear a lot of music that is similar to each other because they use the same tools & same banks, but there’s no fatality & you got some great musicians demonstrating it.

  1. Which kind of music do you listen except the music kind you do? For which musicians can you say “I listen to these names a lot” in recent times?

I usually listen to a lot of soul, rock, jazz, blues, a lot of music especially from the late 60’ early 70’, still my classic 90’ hip hop albums & about recent times I think the 1st name that comes to me are  Anderson Paak & Kendrick Lamar, I think there’s something really fresh about the Los Angeles scene at the moment.

  1. Is there anybody in popular culture you want to work together?

If you talk about mainstream music, not really, I don’t say that none got talents but there’s none of them that excite me or give the idea of trying something.

  1. Sometimes, people categorize songs and say that ‘’I would listen to this song on holiday or while making love.’’ When should people listen to your songs or when they do?

That’s a funny question, you got no idea how often people send me messages explaining me how & when they do listen to my music. It depends on the songs of course but I got to say that “while making love” is on the top of my list;)

  1. What would you do if you weren’t involved in music? Can give some tips for people who want to make music but couldn’t find the courage to do it?

If I were not in the music I think maybe I would be working as an educator with teenagers. That’s something I’ve always been interested about. & about your 2nd question, honestly I got nothing to say to someone who doesn’t find the courage because it’s all about work. I often say to young musicians who ask me about how to live with their music, that should make their music live 1st. It’s more about keeping the faith & working for those who already got the courage & the passion, but those 2 goes a lot together.

  1. You have a lot of fans in Turkey. Do you have a message for your fans before the concert?

It’s been a while I was frustrated that we couldn’t make it to Istanbul last fall. We were supposed to end the tour late July & I’ve accepted this show to come to Turkey wit this new live show, its gonna be the very last with the band & I’m happy to do it in Turkey;)

  1. Lastly, what is waiting for us at your concert in this year’s Babylon Soundgarden Festival?

I’ll be accompanied by my band, I got a drummer on this new live show it gives a different energy, I got a guitarist & my cello palyer also plays the guitar on some tracks so at the end it gives a kind of rock energy sometimes, & of course I got some visual elements but you’ll have to come & see that;)
